having an good sound system doesn't mean you have one of those lame-ass nothing-but-sub-woofer setups...
i have a sub, but i like to hear the entire spectrum as the music i listen to has more than just a bass guitar and bass drum...

in 1994 i held the world record for in-vehicle sound-pressure level for the 0-250 watt class. (9 15" subs in a bronco 2 yeilding 156.9 db)
ive had 2 national award winning car sound systems (2nd place pro 0-250 at spring break nationals and 3rd place Q+ at IASCA finals) ...and have installed 3 national award winning systems for other people....
..and i couldnt be happier with my Stock vw monsoon system. its all just headaches...
I don't feel the need since I mainly listen to talk radio in the car.
actually i take that back....i did ad Sirius radio to my car....and honestly i have no idea how i survived without it.
